If needed, we offer a private bus service pick up at the Duke Point Nanaimo Ferry Terminal transporting your child “To Camp” on the Sunday before their session starts. If your child is coming from Vancouver, BC, please plan to have them walk on to the 3:15 pm Tsawwassen Ferry over to Duke Point Ferry terminal. Once they arrive to Duke Point around 5:15 pm, our Camp Driver, Neelam, will be located right outside the arrivals door in a West Coast Hockey Prep Camp T-shirt ready to help your child board the bus, take attendance and get them up to camp. It’s a beautiful scenic 1.5 hr drive up to Port Alberni where he will drop the campers off to the front doors of our On-site Accommodation located at the Alberni Valley Athletic Hall (beside the arena) where they will be greeted and checked in by our incredible residence hall directors who will get them settled in for their first night at camp. You are responsible for purchasing your child’s walk on ticket and ensuring they make the ferry at that time. With busy summer travels on our beautiful West Coast it is highly recommended that you pre-purchase their walk on ticket with BC Ferries.

If needed, we offer a private bus service drop off “From Camp” to the Duke Point Nanaimo Ferry Terminal on Friday evening at the end of your child’s session(s) with us. The bus will depart camp at 5:45 pm and arrive to the terminal about 7:15 pm where your child will be escorted to the departure gates at the terminal with all of their belongings. This will give them a proper window of time to purchase a ticket and walk onto the 8:15 pm ferry from Duke Point Nanaimo to Tsawwassen Ferry terminal. If your child is attending multiple weeks at camp we offer an additional accommodation opportunity called the “Weekend Stay-over” which covers all accommodation, meals, snacks, activities, 24/7 supervision from the Friday to Monday between camp weeks. *Pricing does not include the Saturday field trip fee, please read below for further details. If your child is staying for 2 weeks of camp, for an additional field trip fee you can join us for a fun Saturday trip off site to the beautiful Parksville Beach area located 30 mins away by Camp bus.
