Both Leah Lum & Emily Costales are well known around the province as elite female players. In our experience having them with us at camp the last 2 summers, there are not two better role models for young female players in BC. Their humble appreciation for the help coaches give them, and their willingness to help younger, or less talented players, is noticed daily at camp.
A Perfect Matchup:
Leah (University of Connecticut) and Emily (Syracuse University) played against each other last weekend. The game ended in a 2-2 O.T tie. Emily Costales got her first goal of the season too! Syracuse (coached by Prep Camp guest Alison Domenico) ended up tying the game with 0.1 seconds left in the game to push the game to O.T. So very exciting.
