GETTING TO PORT ALBERNI
By Vehicle:
Port Alberni is easily accessible by car once
you land on Vancouver Island. Distance from
Victoria is 193km (120mi), Nanaimo 82km (51mi)
and Comox 110km (68mi). The Junior Prep Hockey
camp will be running a shuttle service between
Nanaimo and Port Alberni; and Comox and Port
Alberni to ensure players arrive in camp.
By Air:
You can fly into the airports at Nanaimo,
Victoria or Comox, or catch the Ferry from
Vancouver or Seattle and land in Nanaimo or Victoria.

Regular ferry service links the British Columbia Mainland and Washington State to the Vancouver Island. Riding a ferry provides an opportunity to stretch your legs, get something to eat, browse the gift shop and observe marine traffic and wildlife. It is a mini-cruise in the middle of your vacation.
