Female Alumni Success – West Coast Hockey Prep Camp Hall of Fame

Our female alumni success list will grow as we research, hear from families, and speak with players to catch up on their latest achievements.  We are incredibly proud of the the top level of female high performance hockey talent who train with us at the West Coast Hockey Prep Camp.  This is our ever growing West Coast Hockey Prep Camp Hall of Fame.

Phoebe Staenz, 1994, in camp 2015, 2016, 2017, registered in boys College Pro Group Week 4 (plays in Stockholm Sweden with Club team and Swiss Olympic Team).  Swiss Olympic Team in Pyeongchang, 2018.

Madeleine Ericsson, 1999, attended camp 2016. Playing for HV71 in SDHL, the Swedish Elite Women’s Hockey League. Jönköping, Sweden.

Genevieve Knowles, 2000, at camp in 2018 and injured before 2017, will play for Korean Olympic Team in Pyeongchang, 2018

Megan Taylor, 1995, attended camp from 2011 to 2015.  Played 4 seasons with Western University, Ontario.  Canadian U Sports.

Courtney Weatherby, 1995, attended camp 2011 to 2014.  Played at York University, Canadian USports.

1997 Class:

Ashley Lougheed, 1997, attended camp in 2013.  Ashley is an alumnus of the Pacific Steelers, Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is currently in her sophomore season at Manhattanville College, NCAA Division III.

1998 Class:

Cassidy Bell, 1998, attended camp in 2013. Cassidy is an alumnus of the Pacific Steelers, Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is currently in her sophomore season at McGill University, Canadian U Sports.

Tiffany Chiu, 1998, a 3-time camp attendee (2014-16). Tiffany is an alumnus of the Great Vancouver Comets, and is currently in her second season playing at the University of British Columbia, Canadian U Sports.

Chloe Cook, 1998, a 7-time camp attendee (2011-2017). An Alumnus of the Okanagan Hockey Academy of the Canadian Sports School Hockey League. Chloe is now in her second season at Merrimack College, NCAA Division I.

Maddison Devlin, 1998, a 5-time camp attendee (2012-16). Maddison is now in her sophomore season at Morrisville State, NCAA Division III.

Justine Johnson, 1998, attended camp in 2013. Justine is an alumnus of the Greater Vancouver Comets, and is currently is her second season playing at Ryerson University, Canadian U Sports.

Lisa Lloyd, 1998, a 7-time camp attendee (2011-17). An alumnus of the Okanagan Hockey Academy of the Canadian Sports School Hockey League. Lisa is now in her second season at the University of Alberta, and was a part of the 2017 Canadian U Sports National Championship team.

Cierra Paisley, 1998, a 4-time camp attendee (2011; 2013-15). An alumnus of the Vancouver Island Seals of BC Female Midget AAA, Cierra is currently in her sophomore season at Lindenwood University, NCAA Division I.

Elexa Pakozdy, 1998, a 3-time camp attendee (2014-16). Elexa is an alumnus of the Greater Vancouver Comets, and is currently in her second season playing at Ryerson University, Canadian U Sports.

Olivia Ramos, 1998, attended camp in 2013. An alumnus of the Pacific Steelers, Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is currently in her sophomore season at the University of McGill, Canadian U Sports.

Cyan Roepcke, 1998, a 6-time camp attendee (2011-16). An alumnus of the Okanagan Hockey Academy of the Canadian Sports School Hockey League. Cyan is now in her second season at Guelph University, Canadian U Sports.

Brittney Savard, 1998, attended camp in 2011 and 2012. A Vancouver Island Seals alumnus, Brittney is currently in her second season with NAIT and was the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference rookie of the year in 2016-17.

Danielle Wierenga, 1998, 6-time camp attendee (2011-16) and a camp captain. An alumnus of the Fraser Valley Rush in BC Female Midget AAA, Danielle is in her second season at the University of British Columbia, Canadian U Sports.

1999 Class:

Sophie Christopherson, 1999, a 6-time camp attendee (2012-17). An alumnus of the Greater Vancouver Comets of BC Female Midget AAA, Sophie is now in her first season with the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canadian U Sports.

Jenna Fletcher, 1999, a two time camp attendee in 2016 and 2017. An alumnus of the Thompson-Okanagan Lakers of BC Female Midget AAA, Jenna is now in her first season with the University of British Columbia, Canadian U Sports.

Miranda Gaudet, 1999, attended camp in 2016. Currently playing for the Okanagan Hockey Academy Female Prep team, Miranda has committed to Clarkson University, NCAA Division I, for the 2018-19 season.

Laine Grace, 1999, a two time camp attendee in 2016 and 2017. An alumnus of the Thompson-Okanagan Lakers of BC Female Midget AAA, Laine is now in her first season with the University of Calgary, Canadian U Sports.

Denver Gray, 1999, attended camp in 2016. An alumnus of the Fraser Valley Rush of BC Female Midget AAA, Denver is now in her first season with the Olds College Broncos of the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC).

Olivia Knowles, 1999, a 3-time camp attendee (2014-16). An Okanagan Hockey Academy alumnus, Olivia has twice represented Canada at the U18 level and is currently in her first season at the University of Minnesota, NCAA Division I.

Shay-Lee McConnell, 1999, at camp 2014-2017, a Port Alberni native, now playing at the University of British Columbia, Canadian U Sports.

Alicia Perez, 1999, a 6-time camp attendee (2012-17). An alumnus of the Pacific Steelers, Alicia is currently in her first season at the University of Lethbridge, Canadian U Sports.

Brooke Vial, 1999, a 3-time camp attendee (2015-17). An alumnus of the Greater Vancouver Comets of BC Female Midget AAA, Brooke is currently in her first season as a goalie for the University of Ontario Institute of Technology, Canadian U Sports.

Nicole Wong, 1999, attended camp in 2016 and 2017. An alumnus of the Greater Vancouver Comets of BC Female Midget AAA, Nicole is currently in her first season at Mount Allison, Canadian U Sports.

2000 Class:

Alex Allan, 2000, a four time camp attendee (2014-17). Currently playing for the Pacific Steelers in the Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is committed to Boston University, NCAA Division I, for the 2018-19 season.

Kaya Brossard, 2000, a five time camp attendee (2012-15; 2017). Currently playing for the Pacific Steelers in the Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is committed to St Francis Xavier, Canadian U-Sports, for the 2018-19 season.

Hannah Green, 2000, at camp in 2017 and registered for 2018. In her 2nd season of Female BCMML, Hannah is the captain of the Great Vancouver Comets, and has committed to the University of New Brunswick, Canadian U Sports, for the 2018-19 season.

Sophie Lalor, 2000, attended camp in 2012. Currently playing for the Okanagan Hockey Academy Female Prep team, Sophie has committed to the University of Saskatchewan, Canadian U Sports, for the 2018-19 season.

Maryna MacDonald, 2000, has attended camp 11 times over a period of 7 years (2011-17). Currently playing defence for Shawnigan Lake Midget Prep of the Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL). Maryna has committed to Harvard University, NCAA Division I, starting the 2018-19 season.

Hailey Martens, 2000, has attended camp for 7 weeks between 2013-17. Currently playing for the Pacific Steelers in the Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is committed to the University of New Brunswick, Canadian U-Sports, for the 2018-19 season.

Sadie Parton, 2000, a four time camp attendee (2013-15; 2017). Currently playing for the Pacific Steelers in the Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is committed to Aurora University, NCAA Division III, for the the 2018-19 season.

Danika Pasqua, 2000, a five time camp attendee (2012-15; 2017). Currently playing for the Pacific Steelers in the Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is committed to the University of Connecticut, NCAA Division I, for the 2018-19 season.

Marissa Ryalls, 2000, a 3-time camp attendee (2015-17) and currently playing for Shawnigan Lake Midget Prep of the Canadian Sports School Hockey League (CSSHL). Marissa has committed to Brock University, Canadian U Sports, for the 2018-19 season.

Taylor Sims, 2000, a three time camp attendee (2014-15; 2017). Currently playing for the Pacific Steelers in the Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is committed to Aurora University, NCAA Division III, for the the 2018-19 season.

Camryn Wong, 2000, a three time camp attendee (2013-14; 2017). Currently playing for the Pacific Steelers in the Junior Women’s Hockey League, and is committed to the University of Connecticut, NCAA Division I, for the 2018-19 season.

2001 Class:

Stefanie Wallace, 2001, at camp in 2016 & 2018 (injured 2017), Playing for the Oakville Hornets, leading PWHL defence in scoring and tied for 7th overall in the league. (As of Dec 11,2017).  Committed to Princeton University, NCAA Div I and Ivy League.

Megan Goetken, 2000, a three time camp attendee (2015-17). Playing for Shawnigan Lake School Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Stephanie Moy, 2000, attended camp in 2015 and 2017. Playing for Delta Hockey Academy Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Jennifer Simonis, 2000, attended camp in 2015 and 2016. Playing for Shawnigan Lake School Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

2001 Class:

Megan Bouveur, 2001, a two time camp attendee (2016-17) and expected back for 2018! Playing for Shawnigan Lake School Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Aimee Brucker, 2001, a 3-time camp attendee (2014-15; 2017) and expected for 2018! Playing for Delta Hockey Academy Female Prep, Aimee was the CSSHL Female Varsity leading scorer in 2016-17.

Eva DeBaie, 2001, a two time camp attendee (2016-17) and expected back for 2018! Eva is currently the leading point scorer (as of Feb 19, 18) of the Shawnigan Lake School Female Prep team in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Paris Eliopoulos, 2001, a two time camp attendee in 2013 and 2016. Playing for the Delta Hockey Academy Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Reese Hiddleston, 2001, attended camp in 2016. One of the top goalies in Varsity for 2016-17, Reese is currently playing for the Delta Hockey Academy Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Jamie Johnson, 2001, attended camp in 2011 and expected back in 2018! One of the top goalies in Varsity for 2016-17, Jamie is currently playing for the Delta Hockey Academy Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Julianne Nelson, 2001, a three time camp attendee (2014; 2016-17). Playing for Shawnigan Lake School Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Stella Rockel, 2001, a four time camp attendee (2013-14; 2016-17). Playing for the Delta Hockey Academy Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Mila Verbicky, 2001, a three time camp attendee (2015-17). Playing for the Delta Hockey Academy Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

Devyn Millwater, 2002, a three time camp attendee (2015-17). Has played for the Vancouver Island Seals in the BC Female AAA, and is currently playing for the Delta Hockey Academy Female Prep in the Canadian Sports School Hockey League.

  1. I think you forgot Lisa Lloyd U of A U Sport National Champion 2017 in her 2nd year, Chloe Cook Div 1 Merrimack yr 2. Cyan Roepke Guelph University 2nd year and Madison Devlin Div 3 Morrisville. These girls have been there since your girls camp started. Lots of athletes doing great things.
