Fees and Costs


You can register for any of the weekly programs or combine weeks to meet your training needs. Please refer to the Registration Form for exact costs. Participants who chose more than one weekly program or additional players from the same family are eligible for discounts.

Position Specific, Pee Wee, and Prep Camp weeks
Your fee covers all on-ice and off-ice training programs. If you have chosen the option to board, your fee includes food and lodging in the camp’s dormitory system for each week of camp. Boarding players who are registered for more than one week are allowed to stay at the dorm through their entire stay. Please note that Fridays are considered travel days and while the dorm and kitchen are open, there are no formal programs. Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for transportation to camp.  We offer transportation from major nearby hubs at a nominal fee.  Please see the Registration Form for transportation options.  Registration for the shuttle service is essential and must be completed prior to July 1st. Shuttle schedules will be announced closer to camp.  Additional transportation options are available via Greyhound and Island Link Transport, at player's expense. Port Alberni has many activities available for players and families. Costs and details regarding this will be available at a later date.

Payment Options:


  1. Payment in full at sign up.

  2. Automatic credit card instalments; You can choose to sign up with $100.00 deposit and monthly payments through May 31st, 2010. You will be advised of payment dates and amounts when your registration is confirmed, usually within 48 hours of sign up. Our website and credit card transactions are secure.

  3. If you prefer to pay by cheque please contact Jim Knight to arrange manual registration.  You can choose either of the options above and send post dated cheques to Junior Prep Hockey Camp, #111-1940 Barclay Street, Vancouver, BC, V6G 1L3.

  4. Cancellation Policy and Injury Credit - New this year, you can protect yourself by purchasing the Prep Camp Refund option (available only at sign up). Refunds will not be offered, past May 31st, except to players who have chosen the Prep Camp Refund Option. Players injured during Prep Camp and must return home will be offered pro-rated credits for the 2011 camp. All injuries must be reported to the camp trainer to qualify for injury credit, and medical notes must be provided.

Cancellations will be accepted through to May 31st 2010, subject to a $50.00 administration fee. No Refunds will be made after that date, except as provided by the Prep Camp Refund Option. If you have signed up and we cannot process subsequent payments, you will be dropped from the program and no refund will be given.
